Exciting day at Sage Creek Elementary! Our talented 5th graders showcased their incredible science fair projects, marking the first step towards the CUSF State Regional Competition. From exploring the benefits of chalk in rock climbing, discovering the best soap for handwashing, finding effective methods to clean pennies, to even defying gravity—our students demonstrated creativity and scientific curiosity. A huge thank you to our hardworking 5th graders for their dedication and to our volunteer judges from Springville High School!

Today our Kindergarteners celebrated the 100th Day of School! To celebrate, they engaged in exciting activities that made counting to 100 a fun adventure. From munching on 100 delicious snacks to crafting vibrant 100-day Froot Loop necklaces and colorful 100-day hats, our young learners were all smiles. The highlight of the day? Using highlighters under black lights to make their creations glow!

Our kindergarteners have been spreading holiday cheer all week with creative and fun activities. They've crafted adorable mini-Santas and stockings, designed beautiful Christmas candle art projects, and enjoyed a festive game of Grinchy I-Spy.

The Sage Creek Elves have wrapped up their delightful holiday mischief just before our Christmas break! Elfie brought joy to our hearts by giving out kindness awards, transforming all our dragon signs into elf signs, and even took a whimsical ride around the school on the floor cleaner! We've loved every moment of Elfie's antics and eagerly await another magical visit next year. Happy Holidays from Sage Creek Elementary!

As Term 2 comes to an end, our teachers selected one student from each class to be our Kind Kid of the Quarter. Grit is our focus this year. Students nominated for the quarterly award receive a certificate, a swag bag with Sage Creek items, and a surprise yard sign at their house! New Kind Kids of the Quarter will be selected each term.

Our Elfie has been up to some magical adventures this week. From roasting marshmallows over an open fire to welcoming the gold and silver medalists from the Elf X Games for snowboarding, the holiday spirit is truly alive! Thursday, Elfie was spotted playing "The Floor is Lava," bringing laughter and excitement to our students. And just today, she set up a charming train display by our school Christmas tree, adding a touch of magic to our holiday decorations. We can't wait to see what Elfie gets up to next!
