Jessica Knotts, FCCLA adviser at Maple Mountain High School, has been selected as a National FCCLA Mentor Adviser Award Recipient. This prestigious honor highlights her exceptional dedication to mentoring and supporting both students and educators. Jessica has been instrumental in mentoring student teachers and new advisers, helping them confidently build and lead successful FCCLA programs. She spent five years serving as a regional adviser for Utah FCCLA, strengthening programs and expanding opportunities for students across the region.
Troy Chilcott, FCCLA adviser at Salem Hills High School, has also been selected as a National FCCLA Mentor Adviser Award Recipient. Troy has been teaching for 11 years, including 7 years in Carbon School District, and is currently in his fourth year at Salem Hills. He serves as the Utah FCCLA webmaster and audio/visual technician and is also the Utah ACTE Conference Coordinator. His contributions behind the scenes and in the classroom have been instrumental in supporting both students and fellow advisers across the state.
Additionally, Whitney Black, FCCLA adviser at Salem Hills High School, has been named New Adviser of the Year. In her five years of teaching, Whitney has already made a strong impact through her enthusiasm, leadership, and dedication to her students and FCCLA program.
