MMHS FCCLA

Students from Maple Mountain High School’s FCCLA chapter proudly represented the Golden Eagles at the State FCCLA Conference this past week, bringing home an impressive collection of awards and honors. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication were on full display as they competed against top students from across the state.

Maple Mountain competitors earned a total of 7 Silver Medals, 5 Gold Medals, 3 National Qualifiers, and a National Officer Candidate, showcasing the strength of the school’s Family and Consumer Sciences programs.

Several students stood out with top finishes and national recognition. Sam Anderson earned a Silver Medal in the Entrepreneurship Event, placed 2nd in the state, and qualified for nationals. Hannah Brown also placed 2nd in the state in Interpersonal Communications, earning a Gold Medal and a spot at nationals. Katie Johnson qualified for nationals as well with a Gold Medal in the FCCLA Chapter Website event. In addition, Jennilyn Hess not only earned a Gold Medal in the Focus on Children event but was also named a National Officer Candidate—an outstanding achievement.

Other top performers included Lillia Shaw, who earned a Gold Medal and 3rd place in Fashion Construction, and Millie Peacock, who placed 3rd in the state in Nutrition & Wellness while earning a Silver Medal.
