Payson High School students are making a meaningful impact beyond the classroom by helping train service dogs for individuals in need. A group of eleven students has partnered with Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines to raise puppies from just eight weeks old until they are about fifteen months old.
As dedicated “puppy raisers,” these students take on the important responsibility of the dogs’ daily care. From feeding and grooming to training and providing tick and flea prevention, they play a vital role in preparing the puppies for their future as service animals.
