Brian has been the CTE Specialist for Payson High School, Payson Junior High, and Mt. Nebo Middle School for the past 7½ years. In his role, Brian describes being a CTE Specialist as:
"An advocate for the CTE teachers, a supporter of all CTE programs, and an advocate for Nebo School District students seeking relevant and meaningful education."
What Brian loves most about his job is the relationships with the people he works with. Known for his charisma and confidence, he has no fear of speaking in front of a crowd—give him a microphone, and he could entertain for hours.
Brian and his wife, Katie, have four children—two daughters and two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially during the Christmas season, and loves relaxing on the beaches of Cozumel. When he’s not soaking up the sun, Brian enjoys home projects but would much rather be outdoors exploring.
If Brian won the lottery, he says he would start a family bank and invest. The best advice he has ever been given?
"You only regret the risks you don't take," and "The answer is always NO unless you ask."
Payson High School, Payson Junior High, and Mt. Nebo Middle School are lucky to have Brian’s energy, dedication, and advocacy leading their CTE programs.
