Brad & Kristin & grandkids

Brad Northcutt and his wife, Kristin, are the proud parents of seven kids and the even prouder grandparents of seven grandkids. Brad is currently in his 6th year as a CTE Specialist at Springville High School. In addition to supporting SHS, he also works with Springville Junior High and Spring Canyon Middle School, playing a key role in supporting Career and Technical Education within Nebo School District.

When asked what he loves most about his job, Brad doesn’t hesitate:
"The amazing people I work with. There would be no satisfaction if I did not associate with the most dynamic folks in the education industry."

As a CTE Specialist, Brad is often the first line of support for hardworking CTE teachers. Whether he’s answering questions, putting out fires, diffusing bombs, or talking teachers off cliffs, Brad is always there to help. He also works closely with the counseling department to support Concurrent Enrollment, making sure students and teachers have what they need to succeed.

Outside of work, Brad enjoys relaxing in Maui with his family—preferably while wearing a great pair of sunglasses - and making fun memories at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. In fact, Brad is known for his love of quality shades. If you’re ever in need of advice on protecting your eyes in style, Brad is your go-to guy.

Brad’s favorite holiday is the 4th of July. Between sunny weather, good sunglasses, and time with family, he says it doesn’t get much better than that. When asked what he would do if he won the lottery, Brad’s response summed it up perfectly: he already has.

Brad’s words of wisdom come courtesy of Ty Webb:
"A flute with no holes is not a flute. A donut with no holes is a Danish."

Springville High School, Springville Junior High, and Spring Canyon Middle School are lucky to have Brad Northcutt as part of their CTE team!
